Re: Fuel Sensor K75
I had to replace my fuel sensor unit when it started leaking. It made quite a puddle on my garage floor. It cost ca. $150 for the parts and I did the job myself, not too big a job.
It's possible that your is just stuck so I would take the fuel filler apparatus out and try moving the float arm up and down. That might loosen it. If it doesn't you will probably need a new one as the sensor unit does not come apart for repair.
On the other hand you might just ignore it and reset your trip odometer when you gas up. That's what I do and I re-fuel every 150 miles. When my fuel sensor light comes on I have about 1 mile's worth of gas left so I just ignore it and fuel by the mile.
