Lightbulb HID Low Beam Replacement

Hi All,

I recently purchased an H7 HID kit for replacing the low beam on my 03 KGT.

This was at Tristate's closing sale, so I got it pretty cheap - so the lack of instructions didn't necessarily bother me... After all - I have all you guys - haha

Anyway, I was wondering if any of you who have replaced the low beam with an HID lamp could give me some pointers as to how you did it, where you mounted the ballast, etc.

I did a bit of searching on the forums (both new and old) and can't seem to find anything concrete about steps taken, etc.....

Thanks!

HID installation instructions

I wrote this a few years ago with help from several members from the LT site. Most of it will apply.

The windscreen drive motor and cruise control module make it harder to find a suitable mounting location on the GT. After trying a couple of places I mounted mine to the lateral support bar just below the instrument panel. Works fine but the ballast is not hidden.
