Question Tire Repair Kit......

I've been told to carry a better tire repair kit than the one that is in the bike from BMW.
I want to get the whole thing, with the 3 CO2 cartridges, and the plugs that are like pipe-cleaners. The "reemer" tool I would like to have a T-handle one. Any ideas, and best prices on-line?. Found some good ones for $35. .

The best kit of that type is found just about anywhere. It contains a ream, an insertion tool and the plugs. I prefer the "T" style handle, but it takes up more room. Walmart sells them too, and I add a small tube of rubber cement to increase the chances of success. After about a dozen repairs, I have never had a failure. One word of caution, the CO2 cartidges provided never seem to be enough. Either carry 60gms worth, or get a small pump for $10 and put a BMW plug on it.

Tire Plugger

This one works great.....fits under the seat....buy it online....you'll pay 10 bucks more for it at a BMW dealer.
