Question Santiago pants color question

The BMW Santiago pants come in two colors: black and kacki (sand) colors.

Anyone know if the kacki ones would be cooler than the black ones? When it's 105 outside, black seems to get a tad hot to the touch. The black ones look nicer, but I don't know about form-over-function on this one.

Also, the Euro sizes seem to be odd. Like Euro 54 is about the same as Euro 110 in the waist, but the 110 is longer in length? What a messed up system over the American waist & length measurement sizing. One number size doesn't fit everyone.

I use my black Santiago all summer long. I never gave it a thought as to whether my legs are warm.

IMO, I would go with the lighter color. The color doesn't seem to make any difference when you are moving, but when stopped, the darker colors are definately a leetle more toasty.
