Gerbing Socks: Regular or Comfort?

I was about to buy Gerbing socks when I noticed that there are two kinds: regular (heating wires all over) and comfort (heating wire only on top of the feet). Would love to hear from owners of both Comfort and Regular Gerbing socks before I buy. Thanks.

I have the regular socks. You can definitely feel the wires under your feet. It's all good when riding because your feet are warm. When you walk, you feel the wires on your soles. It's ok since I don't walk far, but I'd rather not feel the wires. BUT, I bought them to keep my feel warm while riding and they do.

I have the regular ones as well. They do a very good job in keeping my feet warm. I am not sure if they would if the wires would only run on top of them. It reminds me of heated grips: If you only warm the inner side of the hands it is just not enough - at least for me when riding in real cold conditions.

Cheers

I have used "Grabber Toe Heaters" with my ski boots, but haven't tried them on the bike yet. If you google that term, places like Cabelas and ski shops have them. That way if you have the comfort sock and need a little extra on those chilly days, just stick them under your toes.
