Kushitani or Dainese gloves

Looking to get some higher end trackday gloves. Narrowed it down to a couple.

Anyone have experience or comments about these?

Kushitani GPR5

Dainese Full Metal Racer

I'm mainly looking for better feel at the controls than my everyday gloves. More flexibility too. I've found both at about the same price +/- $20.

Metal on gloves mean you'll get fried from the heat. :P

Checked out the Halvarssons Dino gloves?

Wow what a deal on those gloves.

You know the markup on Dainese stuff has to be huge.

A few of my mates ride in Dainese gloves and really rate them but I don't think I could justify spending the cash on them, they're unbelievably expensive over here. Does Rossi not wear metal racers?
I actually really rate my BMW gloves, quite cheap on Ebay compared to Dainese's etc. I actually got my first pair before I even owned a BMW!! They took a good few hot sweaty summer rides to break them in but after that they're perfect.

The new GPR6 are out. If that means I can get a good deal on a pair of last year's GPR5, I'm probably going with those.

Looks like price went down just $10 on last year's Kushitanis.

Dainese sale at motowheels

Brand new for 2010 Dainese gloves on sale. They are the Full Metal Pro. Lists for $399 . Sale for $296. Still outrageous, but less so. The markup on apparel esp Dainese must be ludicrous. A flyer they sent out says the sale starts tonight at midnight.

I think I'm gonna pick out a pair of these for special occasions. Or not. I can't decide.

Kushitani GPR5- $250
Dainese Full metal racers- $265
Dainese Full metal pros- $296

I tried on some Held gloves and thought the leather in the palms to be a little thick. I was looking for a little more feel for a trackday pair this time around.
