BMW Airflow 3 Jacket

Does anyone own of the new System 3 Airflow jackets?
I was just wondering about the new treatment that claims far cooler black material.
I also think that I would be removing the two elastic straps inside the jacket as all they do is catch on my uniform or shirt.
Thanks for any comments.

Smile Airflow for the heat of a sydney summer

G'Day baytown I bought an airflow jacket only a fortnight ago as the weather will start to warm up here in Sydney and we can expect some really sticky humidity before long. The airflow jacket is pure quality, everything works as you would expect from BMW Apparel and yes even with the back protector in the jacket is noticeably cooler. I wear the Atlantis 4 suit for 3 seasons and the airflow jacket with draggin jeans during the heat of summer.
I know what you mean about the elastic straps they do get in the way but before you take the knife to them give them a try. I was on the way to a business meeting in the City yesterday and had my hands full with brief case, helmet and gloves, it was really convenient to stick my arms through the elastic straps and have the jacket hang off my shoulders. My opinion of the Airflow Jacket is positive, I find it stylish and made with a close eye on the detail, a real quality piece of riding gear.

Bought it.

G'day Flying Fox (interesting name as we are Flying Fox carers up here in Nth QLD!)
Thanks for your reply and info.
I've owned the Airflow jackets before, and with this new one, its my third.
Couldn't get use to the elastic straps as they kept catching on my military uniform, so cut them off today.
The sun hasn't been out up here for a while, so I've yet to experience the new treatment on the black panels.
Anyway, here's to another 2 years with this jacket.

Best wishes mate.
