Heated Gloves

I have always wanted to get something warmer for my hands during the cold season aside from the winter riding gloves, heated grips & the hand guards. This year's winter definitely made me think of going electric as my old hands have started to complain & ache more. I have looked at both the Gerbing's & the Widder's winter gloves but couldn't go ahead with the purchase because they don't seem to have enough protection in them. I called Gerbing & was told that they can install the electrics in my own gloves for around $80. Did anybody have this done to their own gloves & what have been your experiences.

Thanks in advance.
