Olympia Airglide 2

I'm riding from Los Angeles through Death Valley to Tonopah, NV on Sat. Good chance to see how Olympia Airglide 2 pants and jacket work in the heat. I have a brand new set and haven't tried them out yet but I figured I'd better get mesh for this trip. Should be toasty.

Good thing your testing on Saturday.

Saturday in Death Valley is a mere 98 degrees.
Sunday is forecasted at 111 degrees.

I think you should wait until Sunday to give the suit a better test!

Personally, I don't envy you. There are times when it's just too damn hot to ride.

On Sat, we ride from Tonopah to Stovepipe Wells, Death Valley, which is only 140 miles. We'll stay there, at Stovepipe Wells Village -- by the pool -- for the rest of the day. Then on Monday, we ride through Trona, Randsburg and Mojave back to LA. The ride is through really interesting country and over interesting roads, but it will be warm. This will be my first longish ride on the new K12GT so I will know more about the bike, the seat, windscreen, Nav III and the Olympia Airglide 2 pants and jacket -- by the time I get back! I updated the Nav III software from the Garmin site and programed a route for the trip and it will be interesting to see how that unit works.

Thumbs up on Airglide 2 by Olympia. Used the liners in both the jacket and pants in the morning when it was in the high 50's and pulled the liners out when the temp had reached the low 80's. The mesh was effective. It hit 109 degrees tops on the trip and I was glad for the mesh.
