K1200S and R Accessory Port

What's the deal on the capacity (amps) of the power port and the old style BMW vests (the ones with wires instead of air and CF elements). Can be done? Special sequence to start? New fusing?

Couldn't find the clear answer although the amp limit appears low on that new port.

Thx

I asked the master tech at local dealer about the amp rating of the standard outlet. I was told it is 15 amps.
