Servo brake lock?

Hello, as you can tell from my post count I participate rarely, but I ran across a thread that I thought I'd link up:

http://bike.mywowbb.com/forum28/10384.html

Have any of you ever heard of servo brakes spontaneously locking up while riding? I doubt this is a big problem (unless you're the unfortunate rider) but being a K1200R owner, I'm somewhat interested if anyone here has heard of this happening before.

This seems strange if you think about it. Two things would need to fail.

One: The bikes with the servo has only one extra job and that is to apply extra pressure to the brake lines. Turn off the power and you know how bad the residual braking is on those bikes.

Two: For the brakes to actually lock, it would have to be the fault of the ABS unit since it's job is to release pressure momentarily, then re-apply, and repeat. He mentioned that in his post too.

For both to fail is very odd - and ABS to allow a lock up is most odd of all.

Is this really a person with an unfortunate accident or lawyers dredging for more cases?

Having never heard of this, I too, am suspicious of this post.
