I need a new brain!

Seriously tho, I need to locate an ignition control module (the black box that sits under the tank) for an '85 K100RT. BMW wants more than the bike is worth for a new one, so I need to find a used replacement or get my old one fixed. Can anybody out there help?

Actually I found it at a local salvage (two hr drive). Looks like crap but the owner swore it would work or my money back. I also found a few others at www.ibmwr.org/market/adlist.php?cat=kps (thanks allicanbe1).
