Angry Clutch slipping on K1200LT

I am looking for any information anyone can give me on this issue. I own a 2006 LT with 16,000 miles on it and I noticed that my clutch was slipping recently. I immediately called my dealership and scheduled an appointment to look at it. After they tore into it they said it looked like I had eaten a black cat and never had seen anything like it. They contacted the BMW rep and explained what they had found. The rep without having seen it or pictures of it said that I had been riding the clutch and burned it out and that they would not cover it under the warranty. Needless to say I was beside myself. I've ridden motorcycles for most of my life (I'm 54) and I never burned out any other clutches. I took the pressure plate and clutch plate (I think I'm saying that right) to three other dealerships (2 Honda and 1 BMW). They pretty much say that there is really no way to tell if I had burned it out or not. Interestingly enough, however, the BMW mechanic said that the clutch is a very poor design on the BMW because there was really no way to disipate the heat from it. I pulled out my warranty manual and after getting no satisfaction from customer service the next step according to the manual was to contact BBB Auto Line for either mediation or arbitration. Interestly enough, again, to my surprise when I called them they said they dont handle motorcycles. Go figure! It's in their frickin' manual! Anyway, I've got my attorney involved and I'm not sure where it goes from here. But, I wanted to enlist anyone's comments, advice, experiences, etc. to hopefully gather enough to convince BMW that they need to fix this problem because I pretty much refuse to believe that I don't know how to ride my motorcycle. Any help would be appreciated.

Call BMW North America and bitch.....try another dealer maybe outside of that reps territory when you talk to BMWNA ask them how a rep can tell if a clutch is burned when he hasnt seen pics of it....better yet...have your lawyer do it if hes on retainer...
