Cool K1200s Oil

OK,Let me ask the question this way.Please tell me what kind of oil some of you use?My bike just has enough miles to start using full synthetic oil,so I am using red line.

Last fill up I used Shell Rotella synthetic. I had been using Mobil 1 motorcycle.

We haven't had a good oil thread in a while.

'06 K1200R- in pieces
'73 Honda CB500F- slow but fun.
'77 Yamaha XS 750 triple- kinda

Did you guys and/or gals find that switching to synthetic helps the tranny shift smoother?
I drained just the tank and put in sythetic yesterday, just as an experiment, and it sure seems to shift alot smoother and quieter.
