Bike has been on BMW charger but bike won't start. Charger shows battery fine. Completely dead, any ideas? Thanks for any help.

If it won't crank, could be bad starter switch. All the switchgear on the 2009GT was problematic and subject to recall.

Is the display reading normal when you turn on the key? My right switch gear went bad and mine wouldn't start. When I turned the key to the on position it didn't look normal either. This side is replaced with a single screw and only takes a few minutes to have done. Unfortunately I didn't know it and had to transport my bike to the dealer.

Gt

Check the wires that connect under the key switch, either that or the key switch antenna is damaged. It happened to my 08 GT

if you get a EWS message on the screen it is probably the Immobilizer Ring
