LCD display never turns off

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and I just purchased my 06 K1200s. I'm having a problem with my battery discharging overnight. I've checked my battery drain and it comes out to around 178mA with the key off. I'm suspecting the culprit to be my lcd display. Since I bought the bike the clock and the mileage have never turned off. I would appreciate any input on the subject, Thanks guys!

Don't have your bike, but let's say the drain was around 0.2A. Bike batteries are around 20 Ah so it would take 4 days to flatten it at that rate.

I'm not saying you don't have a problem 'cos that drain seems on the high side, just that based on your current measurement, it should't flatten a good fully charged battery overnight.

1> Probably a failing battery &
2>clock& LCD display should be shutting off.

I'm also pretty certain that the LCD should shut off but I can't even begin to know why its staying on. I had Interstate Batteries do a load test on the battery and they said that it showed to be in good working order.
