rough shifting

hi every one i am new here and new to the bemmers i just bought a 07 k1200gt and love the bike i came over from victory motorcycles anyway just wanted some tips on how to get these bike to shift smoother any tips would be great thanks

welcome to the site first of all.You will get the basic same answer on this question,if it aint a clunk'n it's not a shifting also your riding style and technic will limit this to not sound so bad but will never eliminate it some guy's kinda pre-load the shifter with their foot others do it by shifting at certain rpm's i do both .It took me a few weeks to adjust to this bike with it;s clutch squeal to the clunk but now i have adapted to her and she purrs like a kitten most of these type bike's even the kawi's and honda's and harley's have this issue and is fairly common ..good luck

i've spent most my money on bike's boat's and broad's the rest i've wasted..

im getting use to it got just over 1000 miles now and no as of yet
