Measuring tranny fluid
If I do not have the BMW kit with the measuring tool that doubled as another tool, that C-wrench thing, how do I get an accurate measurement?

Others may have a more elegant solution but I just measured mine and the level would be just over 4 1/2" below the top of the filler. I'd fabricate something to detect that level.
