my new fuel gauge k1200r

hi i took the sender unit from a k1300 r (float) and fitted it into k1200r tank and used a digital gauge to measure the fuel in the tank .i was having lots of problems with fuel strip .used pins 2 & 3 for the sensor wire.and it works fine . see photo. wired the live and neutral to the sat nav socket. the whole thing cost about £40 pounds. bmw doesnt have the software to get the k1200r to reconise the float from the k1300r so i had to put a seperate gauge on the bike.
