Hello,
I would like to install (my self) the quick shifter on a k1300s.
I check the SW and for my bike it is possible.
have any of you installed it?
is enought to buy the quick shifter? or there is other parts to install?

in advance thank you.

I might be possible HOWEVER, I believe you would have to change or re flash your ECU as it connects to it and sends a signal to the ECU to momentarily cut the ignition. Pretty sure it is very $$$$$. I would just be practicing clutch less shifting. It is an art but once you get the hang of it pretty much like a quick shifter.

Well with the reprograming you are right.
but i wanted to know if the engine need some how to install somethin mechanicaly.
at the bmw the want around 700usd, for the programing is 100usd.
so my idea is to make the mechanical part and the go to the dealer and make the programing.
as info, first i make sure my ECU has the posibility to make this, there are some unit that are not allow.

installed

so guys just for info:
1) buy your (via ebay cca. 120USD)
2) easy to install just 2 screws out, if not let it to the dealer.
3) go to BMW dealer, ask them to install the new SW to the control unit.
- with the VIN of your bike from BMW will send the new SW to them (cost: 0,5 USD)
- required OnLine Diagnostics (just BMW dealers). and approx. 2hours.
4) just have fun
