ICOM-D cable for ISTA/P ISTA/D

I recently purchased a laptop loaded with ISTA software, mainly for BMW car side work, but I also want to use it for my 02 K1200RS (K41). It looks like I need an ICOM-D cable, but since I have MA2.4 engine control unit, I also need another adapter (83-30-2-364-732). There is a message that comes on on ISTA/D that says this as well. I canít seem to find that adapter anywhere. I found the regular ICOM-D, but I also found one with extra wires and connectors. Does anyone know if there is a cable that works or if there is a workaround? I have seen something about installing switches for pins 9 and 10, but no clarification that this actually works. Any help is appreciated.
