K1300GT Service Manual

My search here and else where on the internet has lead me to believe that there is not printed manual. Rather you have to get it on DVD.

Is this true?

Does the DVD contain values and diagnostic flows? Or is it, hereís how to replace a broken, worn, or malfunctioning part?

No values, just maintenance how-to's.

The factory rep-rom is mostly useful for showing well-illustrated sequences to get at whatever you're after. BMW does an extremely poor job of labeling the parts in the online fiche.

There is negligible technical/functional information available anywhere, to if that guy coordinating with HexCode can come up with something, he'll have a winner on his hands. See the thread "Starting a GS-911 Academy" which seems to be fading over the last few days.

I and others print the useful pages from the rep-rom and take the hardcopy to the garage to do whatever.

Yes, that thread definitely does seem to be fading away. So far my impression of the device is that it a high priced OBD scanner for BMW motorcycles.

Iíll definitely be getting the service manual despite it lacking info. Perhaps they do that on purpose.
