exhaust on the GT

just sold my S for the GT. i had a graphite Remus can on the S which i loved(weight, sound, looks)and now what to do the same with my new GT. Any thoughts about heat from the exhaust and the saddle bag being too close? or is there a better exhaust"out there for the GT?

even the stock exhaust will melt down a turn signal if left ideling i melted mine...but the bag was fine with the stock exhaust.....but as long as your moving you shouldnt have any problems....unless the remus is at a different angle....but havent heard of any such problem in this forum......might want to do a search.with different key words

Are you talking Gen 1or 2 GT. I have a Remus Titanium slip-on on my '06 GT. Sound is great (haven't taken out the removable baffle) way lighter than stock. It really runs much cooler than stock--no cat. Stock can was hot for 5 minutes after shut down. You can touch the Remus 1 minute after shut down and it is cool. So, if its an G2 GT--no problem with heat near saddle bags.
