For Sale:
HexaCone Slip-On Muffler / Titanium
Fits BMW K1200GT 05-on, K1300GT

Price: $499 Firm. Free shipping within the Continental US

This Austrian-made, 5-sided REMUS HexaCone Titanium Slip On muffler, made with a long lasting, corrosion resistant and light weight TITANIUM canister, capped at the ends with carbon fibre end caps, not only looks great, it will give your K1200 / K1300 that rich, deep tone that you'll be proud of, while reducing weight and increasing both torque and horsepower. It's stunning really and who wouldn't want that.

You'll notice the change the moment you start the engine. It's not like so many other exhaust systems that are aggressively loud. Driving down the road and the pipe purrs with a deep, throaty tone. The moment you start it, people take notice of the deep, pleasing sound, but crank the throttle and the BMW's high performance motor's true spirt comes alive, sounding like a finely tuned Ferrari at high RPM. It's stunning really and you'll wonder why you didn't do this earlier. You'll feel it in increased pulling power (torque). The top end performance is striking - and I mean right away.

Like virtually all aftermarket exhausts, the Remus Hexacone eliminates the catalytic converter. Your O2 sensor remains plugged into your factory header. The Remus Hexacone comes with a removable 'street legal' silencer. Customer retains the option of keeping the factory heat shield. All exhaust piping and hardware are made of lightweight 321 aircraft stainless. Your stock canister is a hefty 12.5lbs.. The Remus Titanium Hexacone canister is under 5lbs / 8oz.

The system retains center stand capability. http://pirateslair.net/bagclearancestealth.jpg There's plenty. http://bmwmoa.org/LinkClick.aspx?lin...coneMount1.JPG . No bands! The logos are adhesive style decals which can be lifted off the canister by the customer.

Note: There will be a handling/processing fee imposed on ALL phone orders.. This does NOT apply to PayPal purchases or personal checks. FYI.. PayPal is a FREE and 100% secure service where you can use your credit cards, debit cards, and even send money directly from your bank account. When price shopping keep in mind that our prices INCLUDE shipping charges. Most places DO NOT.

Why REMUS ?

I've had 3 BMWs, and after a boatload of research and watching videos, I found that the REMUS was the best quality at the best value for a long lasting, good sounding muffler. I've put REMUS on all 3 of my beamers and this new model, with its Hexicon styling has the best tone and nicest styling of them all. I purchased this muffler on 3/12/2012 and 4 months ago

Why am I selling?

I sold my 2010 K1200 GT and am selling this muffler separately.

YouTube video of this pipe, on my K1200GT.
Video of me riding my K1200GT on the backside of the Tail of the Dragon - Good audio of the pipe in action.

Comments: Ask questions first before considering buying. I know for certain that this combo will work on the K1200 GT and K1300 GT. I would advise you check with REMUS on the other bike shown to make certain as I copied the data from my original invoice. The muffler includes the muffler, connector pipe and springs, but otherwise is plug n play with existing hardware.

Condition: The muffler and connection are in great condition and will last decades with proper care. There is one very tiny scratch on the back side of the canister (cosmetic only) caused from my cleaning it with a buffer. It won't rust because its made of titanium

Price: The price shown is FIRM. I accept PayPal as a form of payment to protect both parties. The muffler and connector are a very good value considering the products great condition and it being only months old (used less than 12 months - low miles).

FREE UPS Ground Shipping in the Continental US. Muffler (ships in original factory box) and connector pipe ship in separate boxes.
