For Sale: K1200S gearbox, beautiful condition

Have a noisy/skipping/broken gearbox on your K1200S/R/GT? Here's a nice low-miles replacement. Removed from a 2008 K1200S. No visible wear on gears/slots/dogs. Shifts perfectly. Note the nice square dog slots on 2nd gear, where a bad gearbox will "skip" or pop out of gear. I don't know the actual mileage, but judging by the condition is is very low.

For sale for $500 + shipping. I can box it up securely but please note, it will be heavy and therefore cost some to ship.

Contact me at [email protected] for more information.

If the above sells (first), and anyone is looking for another one, I have two now.
One from a 2008 k12s. dogs are good. shift drum without wear. forks good. Overall excellent that I would not hesitate to put in.

Another from my 2006 k12r. less than 5000miles. Never jumped out of gear. Still in the engine so I cannot comment on the condition directly except to say there were no problems whatsoever.

Reason I'm selling is I have the k13 complete engine and gearbox now and don't need one of the above.

Did I not say I would wait for yours to sell?

How long have you been around here? If you cared to visit more and contribute instead of using the forum to sell stuff you'd might realize that I'm here to help and not make a buck...

But you are technically right. I should have started my own ad. It just wasn't that important for me to sell it.

Congratulations on your sale and I hope you contribute more in the future to the community but since you've sold your bike, probably not...

But I'll still be here.

Welcome to real life pal, where people steal threads occassionally and usually mean no harm. Don't be so harsh and love thy neighbor.

You probably should have updated your thread when you actually sold it, then there would have been absolutely no confusion.

PM sent to JCW - Given that the original one was sold already, I'm thankful for the hijack - That is unless his are sold already too.
