Do you still have the bag and mount plate for sale? You said you removed the lock cylinder? How can it be re-keyed with the entire cyl. missing from the lock? Every locksmith I've ever used simply replaces the small pins in the lock cylinder.

I had the lock cylinder removed from the carrier housing using my existing key.

The cylinder has been removed, but is included with the sale.

It is my understanding that in order to remove the lock cylinder from the carrier housing you need to use the existing key. From that point, the lock cylinder can be re-keyed
to work with your existing key. Then the cylinder can be re installed back into the carrier.



Any BMW MC Service Department will be able to do this in minutes.

The cylinder is pictured below in item # 7 along with the keys.
