Wink Wtb F-650?

I am thinking about getting an F-series Beemer so if anyone could give me a heads up on any problems they might be having or where to research any issues I would thank you to do so. TIA. Fletch.

Adventure bug biting? I feel ya!!

How about the way cool F650 Dakar. Perfect and just in time for the Spring ride. That means you have to spend the extra time in Baja that we're cookin up in April!!

One of the local guys in Sacramento is about to sell his F650 GS.

If you are interested, call me at 715-2735 and I'll put you in touch with him.

Check out the Chain Gang: http://f650.com/website/

They have a very good FAQ Section: http://faq.f650.com/main.html

I had an '01 F650GSA for about 3 mo. / 2,500 miles and really LOVED it!! The only reason I sold it was to get my 1150GS back (long story). Funny thing is that I miss the Baby GS much more than the big pig.

The BMW dealer flashed the latest FI map for about $30 to fix some random stalling; other than that it was all trouble-free miles. Maintenence is much more involved than the BMW boxers, but if you usually pay for service then it is no big deal.

I'd buy another one in an instant if I had the $$

One thing though, if you plan to get on some trails with it, I'd go for the higher Dakar.
