R1200RT - filling the tank question...

I know, what moron can't fill his tank.

It stops quick and the fill tube looks deep and I see fuel at the base. I take it it is full eh?

The reason I ask is I am trying to determine my range and wasn't sure if that was truly full. My RS was easier to know when full because the filler neck is short.

I rented an RT when I was in San Fran last month and if I remember correctly I could still get fuel into the tank past when it met up with the bottom of the fill tube. Check to see how much you can put in the tank when near empty. I think the RT hold about 7.3 gallons (?). Your owners manual will verify the exact quantity.
