Thumbs up Sierra BMW-Sparks,NV

These guys rock!

short story....me(K12GT) and my buddy(K12S) were on a central Sierra Nevada ride scheduled for 2 days and half way thru near Bridgeport, CA the S got a flat at 2pm. Being 2 hours away from Reno/Sparks, we called Sierra and they waited for us to arrive. I slimed the S's rear and pumped it up....it held...so we made a dash thru Reno to Sierra BMW. We rolled in at 430ish and they knocked out the rear. Very nice shop and very knowledgeable and helpful service and parts staff. Highly recommend that if your are goin thru the Reno area on I-80 or 395 and you need anything, pull off and say hi to these guys.

I agree. Suzette in the apparel has to be one of the most knowledgeable persons I've met if you're looking for gear. They have a lot more clothing hidden inn back.

+1 for Sierra BMW

Scott McKay, the service manager, is a great guy, and so are the techs and parts guys. I believe they have FOUR master techs in that shop. Getting a scheduled appointment can be tough, as they are usually booked out three weeks in advance.

Sierra Cement: Good for skis, bad for knees.

There were a couple of guys from Maryland in their service shop getting their cross-countrying LT's serviced. They were quite happy with the service performed. They were staying at the same Super 8 near the shop.

I'd say my favorite shops have to be Irv Seaver in Orange County, Ventura BMW, and Sierra BMW for service.
