WI Dealer Help

MISCHLER'S HD/BMW vs Nick's vs Milwaukee?

I have to do an insurance repair and 12k service. I am driving from the UP.

Anyone get a loaner, bad experiences?

I stopped at Nick's last year on my way to the BMWRA rally in Houghton, and was impressed by the friendly and helpful attitude of the owner and employees. It's a little less than 200 miles each way from where I live, but I went back to Nick's for some warranty work and was very pleased with the experience.

I have also had good experiences with BMW of Milwaukee. I have purchased gear and tires from them, as well as my 12k and 18k service. I have always been treated well.

I have no experience with Mischler's.

More info here.

Nick's is by far the best!!! I bought and had bikes serviced at all three, now I only go to Nick's even though it's the furthest from my house.

Last summer I knew I'd need a new tire when I got to WI (from CA). Called ahead to Mischlers to get the right PR2 (B), thought it'd be fun to visit Beaver Dam again (I grew up in Watertown.) Called again when I arrive in WI and they didn't have the right tire, had troubles with the distributor, couldn't get it in time...

Called BMW Milwaukee and they got the right tire for me the next day, no problems on a quick turnaround on the install, took a look at a battery problem I was having too, and I had a decent time hanging out in the showroom waiting for the work.

Limited data point, sure, but I know where I'll go next time I'm in WI.

I really like BMW of milwaukee. The guys are great. I bought my k12 from them and several other bikes over the years. Last month when my trans went out they had it replaced in 4 days. I graduated from Michigan Tech last spring, How's Houghton?

Good Dealers

Purchased my K1300S from Nick's BMW in Depere, Wisconsin. They are 130 miles from my location and I won't go to anyone else. Good service, friendly family owned, good selection, very good communication!
