Stock mirrors

I've got a 2006 K12R, running the stock rear view mirrors. The left one is loose at the pivot ball. The dealer tells me there is no adjustment to tighten it up, it floats in when going down the road.Anyone tried anything to tighten them up? Thinking maybe adding a few drops of super glue after i get it positioned correctly or drilling a small hole and installing a set screw. Any other ideas? Thanks in advance.

I bought a new one to replace the old one. It was $12 from my dealer, I think.

That's a hellava deal. They quoted me 81.00. So i'm thinking of going with some Rizomas. For the time being, i added two drops of superglue, and so far so good.

Mirrors.

I got tired of looking at my shoulders with the stock mirrors. I bought and installed folding CRG hindsight bar end mirrors. Sold the stock mirrors on Ebay. I use the empty threaded holes to mount my EZpass and my cheap Nuvi 2595LMT with bluetooth paired with my smartphone and Interphone F5 helmet bluetooth speakers. Ride safe.

Mirrors

I lost both glasses off my mirrors after coming back from a cross American trip.
So 8k constant miles was too much and they fell off near home.

Got my inlaw to make me a pair of replacement at the glass factory he works at.

Then reading how many times this happens to people, he told me he can cut a stack and stock it and mail them out as single glasses to the K12/13R bikers as needed, or as pair in case. They are real glass mirrors with perfect reflection, 1/8" thick. Made for outdoor application.

Not sure how many would be interested in a spare superior glass at $20 each
