I searched high and low for an affordable slip-on for our bikes, and have been very happy with my Carbon/Inox GPR exhaust, purchased on eBay directly from GPR. Handmade in Italy, at a price that makes you wonder how they do it! I couldn't find anything on kbikes when I was shopping, so forgive the cross forum link, GPR Impressions. I am still as thrilled after a season of riding with it, if not more so!

good suggestion.

for a round aluminum/stainless steel cannister over a perforated pipe, the price is ridiculous. the companies profit margin must be astronomical.

'06 K1200R- in pieces
'73 Honda CB500F- slow but fun.
'77 Yamaha XS 750 triple- kinda

Any specs on them vs Akrapovic, LeoVince or Remus?...I'm in the market too for a slip on.

I've never seen dyno runs on the GPR, but based on the dynos I've seen for the other slip-ons, I'm guessing any gains in power will be pretty negligible. Most go with slip-ons due to the weight savings, sound, and losing the extra heat associated with the cat. Based on feel alone, I'd say the power band shifted down a bit, as the engine now spools faster through the RPMs, but otherwise feels about the same. Gas mileage went down about 2 mpg as a result, and the rideability in low RPMs is vastly improved without having the need to constantly feather the clutch!

Any hp gain is pure icing for me. My peeve is having a frigging bazooka on the side of my bike. I should almost be renting out the ad space on my rocket launcher exhaust. I'm real keen on the Remus CF shortie I saw on Pirates Lair though. Just gotta rob a bank to make the purchase.

Maybe you should contact "K1200r" (username), who was selling his PowerCup Hot Cam pipe few months ago. I'm sure that that pipe has a sound to remember. Check thread:
