Brake dust!

Maybe it's the Harley side of me that wants to keep my k1200r spotless and I know I should relax and let the miles tell the story but I've got the light gray wheels and they get covered in brake dust after a 100 mile ride. Has anyone got any tips/tricks for keeping the dust off with the stock brake pads or am I stuck wiping down after ever ride?

Thanks,
Brian

dust

I also have a constant clean the bike disorder! But I did find that some of the aftermarket brake pads really throw the dust, what brand are you using now? I'll be sure to put them on my stuff not to buy list.

They are the stock ones. I used Hawk pads on my Road King and they dump a lot of dust, especially on the white walls.

Brake dust???? Just think of it as do-it-yourself powder coating. the ultimate in customization of your motorcycle.

Glass is half full huh? I like it. It was getting bad enough I was actually thinking about changing the wheels our for the darker ones. ....It doesn't help my brother with his black wheeled R1 always puts finger marks in my gray rear wheel.
