Evo Exhaust Hanger Mystery

Hello, former fellow forum members!

I was rummaging through my parts bin and found the Evoluzione Exhaust Hanger I purchased from Ken Zeller's greatly missed Evoluzione Cyclesports website. I never ended up installing it, so now I thought I'd put it up on eBay -- except I don't know if I have all the pieces. The pieces you see here were all in their original mini-ziplock baggies they came in, but I'm wondering if something is missing from the lot. Do any of you have one of these hangers installed on your bike? If so, am I missing a part? And a few more questions: 1. Is that one top-mount bolt the wrong one? It seems short. 2. Am I missing a nut for it? 3. Was there a top bracket similar to the lower one pictured? From the photo of the black-anodized one I found online, it doesn't look like there is a top bracket.

I think I have all the pieces Ken sent me back in the day, but I don't have the install instructions, so I'm not sure. I want to know what I need to know before I post the ad.

Can anyone help me solve my mini-mystery?

Thanks... John W.

well I can't speak from any personal experience but my guess is that short bolt is used to mount that bracket to the frame. There are holes in the rear subframe that have a nut bonded inside.

Then maybe it reuses the bolt that comes with the aftermarket muffler for the lower mount.

Looks like it's complete enough.

Forgive me if I exaggerate, but if k-bikes.com was a nation, John, you'd be a national frickin' treasure. You probably know more about the accessories to this bike than even the people who actually own the accessories.

I know! Where is he? Have either of you (or anyone else) heard from or of him? I know he had been gone for a while even when I left a few years back, and he had mentioned health issues. Hope he's okay -- 2Tall and you two, too.

I'm better now this winter is over. I think they said third coldest ever.
My brother lives in LA so I know the weather there is disgustingly good. cept for the mini quake.

Started riding my Honda cb500F around. No power, finicky carbs, too high idle, no brakes but the bike just feels more "alive." So what if I get passed by kids on bicycles.

What are you guys riding these days?

JCW, glad to hear the horrible winter's gone. We're getting into spring properly here too. Lovely with all the light.

Still on my F800GS, haven't ridden it enough, or modded it enough. Went to the Isle of Man TT last year.
