Pilot Road 3 vs Diablo Rosso II

Need to change my tires but I can’t decide between the Diablo Rosso II and Pilot Road 3. This shop—4wo|motorcycle accessories is giving me a good offer on these tires so I need to decide as soon as possible. My priorities are handling and grip, but hoping to get a good mileage. Any thoughts on these tires? Thanks.

I'm on my 4th set of PR3s on my K1300GT. No complaints on handling in pretty much any situation. I ride in the mountains frequently, run it pretty hard, get decent mileage. I won't put anything else on it, except maybe a PR4

I'm an engineer so I can't help but document maintenance costs and mileages. Here's what I've gotten mileage wise out of my last 5 sets.

Changed at 9,899 miles Metzler Z6s
Changed at 19,783 miles Road Pilot 3
Changed at 28,197 miles Poad Pilot 3
Changed at 37,461 miles Poad Pilot 3
Changed at 48,839 miles Poad Pilot 3

My bike is my car, I commute 60 miles a day so lots of highway.
Weekends I take it to the mountains and run the curves pretty hard.

9K per is impressive. I am the same with commuting on the bike. If it's not pouring I am in one of my bikes and the Pilot Roads sound good.

Pr 4 Gt

Just put on a set of PR 4 GT's. Noticed a major positive handling difference from the Z6's. To be fair they were worn out, but still............ Hope the mileage is as advertised.

Live to ride another day
