new K1300r owner

First time owner of K1300r..in fact, first time owner of a BMW !!. Moved over from Triumphs after many years, but I have to say 'what a bike' the 1300r is.
Planning a trip to France in June and another to Spain in September and can't wait.
Just fitted an Ilmberger carbon hugger,(nice piece of kit) which makes the matt black front guard look a bit plain. I can see my credit card is going to suffer.
Just scratching my head to figure out how to use the spare outlet plug I found at the front, next to the battery, for my sat nav. I'll trawl the forum to see if anyone has a solution, but just wanted to say Hi.

I have used this plug to power a USB socket, works nice. I can check out which wires I have used.

Thanks Acim.
I believe one of the wires is a 'data' wire (for CAN bus devices) and won't be used?
