Power Jet Fuel Commander

Has anyone tried the Power Jet Fuel Commander to resolve low speed bucking etc?

I see no one answered and I don't have a PC on my bike so I thought I throw my 2 cents in anyway. I have had PC on various bikes and they did a variety of things to them, I know if you go through the old posts here someone has some information on this. I posted in another thread that I never had my bike stall when dropping to idle and then the next day it did. The FI is odd on these bikes so I now pay extra attention to the throttle, particularly off-throttle and slight part throttle. Since then I haven't had an issue so its just a part of the "character" of the bike to me. It is not an issue with significant throttle openings so I'm not going to worry about it enough to spend money on a different fuel map etc. There really shouldn't be a situation where this is a problem except if you are de-clutched coming to a stop.

I'm with ChetV on this subject. Them eng-in-eers are doin' a whole lotta stuff on a small package. This isn't the first BMW I've owned, the first one had Bings and I never had any issue with those. Well except for my hiking boot knocking a fuel bowl bail loose at a stop. -sniff sniff, smells like gas. Oh shiat!

I recently came across a BMWMOA post where the suggestion was to add Techron (brand) additive to every tank.

I put on a K&N air filter today and went for a quick ride. Seems to be a little better. I may not bother with any type of fuel programmer. You are right, only at certain times that are not critical. Anything above 4K rpm and the bike screams like it should as far as I can tell. If it could do more, I don't need it. Thanks for the reply!

I will try the fuel additive and see what happens. Thanks for the suggestion.

My further thing is to run top rated fuel. Most of the pumps in my neck of the woods are single hose dispensers. So-o-o the folks liable to get short changed are the premium fuel buyers.
