K1200R & K1200S, cylinder head the same?

Hello, I have a 2007 K1200R.
During a repair job we dropped the camshaft bracket and it broke in 3 parts. At first, I thought no big deal, but after I could not find the part in the parts catalogue, I contacted BMW. The reply was shocking, they do not sell the part by itself. You need to purchase the cylinder head and the camshaft bracket only comes with that. Price in the USA $2987.67, or Germany approx. EURO 2100! Absolutely weird!
Now, I am looking for a second hand cylinder head. I found one from a K1200S (mine is the K1200R) on the Internet, the seller also does not want to sell the bracket by itself. So, if I want it, I need to by the cylinder head. But now the big question: Are those cylinder heads the same, I guess they should be but BMW made me worry. I contacted a dealership in Germany and I was told the part numbers for K1200R and K1200s were not the same, hence they must be different. I cannot believe that, the engines should be almost identical. Does anybody know, is that correct? Any info will be much appreciated!

I think the reason you cant buy just that part but need to buy a whole head is that they machine that part along with the head in one setup to make the bearing surfaces for the cams. Taking parts off of different bikes will either make a too loose or too tight fit, either way it won't work without damaging the cam or head bearing surface, possibly the whole engine if bits wear off.

The cylinder head is the same between "S" and "R".
(Only that the R cylinderhead is painted)
The "GT" is different.
