K1300R check engine and oil error

Hi guys,

I am new to the forum and riding awesome K13R

I have a question, my K1300R 2012 model, keeps showing error Check engine icon and oil icon after 20min riding,
if i turn the ignition off and on again, its not there, but after some time it comes again.
Oil level is ok, and changed recently, and on the reading its OK.

This is the reading of the ECU...

The oil level sensor is most likely the problem.

The oil when warm expands and changes the total volume. If you filled the oil up to max when the engine is cold it will cause the sensor to read too "high".

But you also show O2 sensor error.

Too much oil (and i am talking about a very high oil level) can get into the airbox through the crankcase breather. Oil in the airbox can cause O2 sensor problems, rough idle (idle actuator valve gets sticky) and if you live in the USA the fuel evaporator valve+canister to get contaminated.
Also, the SLS (secondary air valve) can be affected by the oil.

Best would be to delete all faults first and then see which ones come back when the check engine light comes on, and have a look inside the airbox. If you see oil (crankcase breather hose is on the far right hand side in rider dire.)
