Cambridge K I did BMW - better steel & did not cut as to what BMW says - to much of a cut to her belly pan. Did a cut to match what is needed to clear the center stand like this uses a dremel for fine cutting & sand paper to finish off http://www.i-bmw.com/showthread.php?t=22109

Possibly the K1200s will be same as K1200r & even same as K1300 variants.

K12S Center stand

I recently bought an '06 K12S and the bike doesn't have a center stand. I would like to add one for various reasons.
There seems to be a couple of options, factory and aftermarket. Has anyone here done this to theirs?
Which way did you go? If you installed it yourself, can you provide any pointers?
