I'm running a Sgt. now and covered the rear portion to match. I threw the stock front seat away (my first mistake). Now, I'm considering going to Russell, but, they need the stock seats, they don't furnish their own pans. Not wanting to slice and dice my current set, I need to find a stock front and rear seat that I can send to Russell. Any suggestions? I tried two dealers, not much help unless I want to spring for a new set. I suppose my other option is to trade the GT for an LT :rotf: :rotf:
Blackhorse 17,
Don't need to replace your GT!!!!
I still have both front and rear heated seats of my 2006 GT that I replaced with CORBIN's. If you are interested I can sell them to you at a much better price than getting them from your dealers.....If interested e-mail me.
Andrew
AndrewE, sent you another email, also. Larry, I'd be interested in your set as well, Russel just needs the pans, if the seats are torn or worn, no problem as long as the pans are ok
New question, are the pans on the high and low seat the same? Is it just the amount of foam that makes one taller or is there a more permanent difference? If there is, I doubt I want Russell to build up the higher version of the seat. I had the low version and my Sgt. is their low version which actually sits an inch lower than the BMW seat. I like it for commuting, but not for a long multi day ride.
