I purchased mine from ebay de. (germany) But with the euro like it is its $150 more than I paid. Contact schuberth and see if they have a us supplier yet. I thought bmw in santa Barbara was going to be the supplier. I saw some down in eugene oregon at the bmw dealer earlier this year.

Suggest you use the Search function. Several posts including mine on the C3.

These guys have schuberth, but I don't see the c3 yet I'm sure it will be in soon. I bought my Nolan N-com from them, they were fair, and reliable to deal with.

Don't count on it. I have spoken with Schuberth several times when looking for the C3. Even looked in Canada when there in Sept. Their present policy is no sales in North America period. According to them (and they are correct imo) we are a litigious society and they just don't want to deal with it-witness the moron-yes moron-who rode into a block wall to see what kind of injuries he would receive. Imagine the ambulance chasers who were lining up for that one. It's really too bad as my C3 is the best lid I have every put on my noggin.

I had the opposite experience with them. Paid a pair of SIDI boots in June 2008 and still wait them. They were fast in replying my e-messages prior to my payment, confirmed the receipt of it and no further info since then.

As I have commented in another thread (Thread link ), I recently acquired a gorgeous Glossy Black Schuberth C3 helmet, and love it. I acquired it via a shop in Wales (Sportouring Web Site ) which gave me good service.

The reason the C3 is not available in the US is that it has CE certification, but they have not put it through DOT or Snell certification testing. The CE standard is very high, gives excellent control of deceleration levels on the head, and is not inferior to the DOT standard.

I recently bought a Schuberth C2 @ www.motoliberty.com . Great guys to deal with. I actually went to the store in Dallas and bought the helmet. After 30 seconds on the highway I was on the way back to the store. The helmet made this weird whistling noise when I turned my head. And loud, almost like a flute. I had to take it back. I really hated that, cause it was really comfortable and I liked the looks of it. Now it occurs to me after doing some reading, that I may not have had the visit all the way snapped into place. Could have been the visit vibrating...hmmm. oh well, I like the Bell I replaced it with.
