I know some of you have bought one, so where did you buy yours? I'm wanting to get the new Lady C3 helmet and I wanted to shop around for best price for someone that will ship to the US.

Let me know where you bought yours.....

TIA

I've got a Schuberth and a Shoei Multitec. I've had the Schuberth for about 4 years and Shoei for 2. I've worn the Schuberth maybe 3 times since getting the Shoei. I find the Shoei to be lighter and quieter.

Schubert is better for really cold weather riding.

The last time I talked with Schuberth, about getting my C2 rebuilt with new pads etc, they had no plans for a distribution newwork in the US. Anything you find out there now is old stock, so nothing better than a C2 or S1. Would have to buy it from a european vendor and it won't have the DOT sticker on it. Of course this is all worthless if Schuberth has suddenly started selling in the US market again.

Schuberth is not sold in North America-including Canada-least when I bought my C3 2 years ago. Bought mine on line from a really nice shop in the UK. The C3 is the quietist, lightist filp helmet made-and I have had /have them all. After several posts to them, sizing, color-it arrived 4 days from when I ordered it. Couldn't be happier with it. Just do a search on Schuberth to find name of shop (sporttouring-or something like that)-also I might have mentioned the name in this site. Oh, and btw--don't lock it under your seat-- :teeth .

You guys are NUTS! Yeah, I think I'm there. I found a website that sells them and they seem nice and responsive through emails. I just need to bite the bullet and hit that "pay now" button. It's hard to spend $700 on a helmet that you've never tried on before. I LOOOOOOOVE the inside visor!!! The Scorpion helmet hurt my chin or I would have went that route. I love the Shoei, but it's a PITA to switch face shields out when it's going from daylight to dark or Vice versa! I do a lot of long day rides and I don't like messing with the helmet during the ride.

I want this part done before the trip, I don't want to worry about finding one or anything like that. Thanks for all the tips!

Share the website as I am in the market for a new helmet. My Nolan is old and my BMW system 3 is tooand needs a repair to the hinge and the parts are no longer available even overseas as it is more than 5 years old.
The Schuberth sounds like this is the one i may want unless I go with the new Nolan with bluetooth.

Schuberth C2 and C3

Chuck,

I saw that Bluetooth accessory option too and was intrigued. I've got a C2 now and have had 2 original Concept helmets. Love them. Much better than any other Flip-up I've tried for many reasons not the least is that it has metal latches for the chin bar instead of flimsy plastic catches.

I've hesitated getting the C3 because of the cost and the fact that my current C2 helmet is still fairly new. Got a heck of a deal on it 2 years ago on a clearance sale ($300). It was missing a cap retainer thingie for the visor but, I had extra ones left over from the C1's I have had and I just replaced them with the old ones and the pieces underneath. Works great.

I may pull the trigger at some point next year. I've heard rumors that someone is working to import them into the U.S. but, nothing concrete.

Those of you that have ordered the C3 from overseas, have you ordered the same size as the C1 or C2 you had previously (assuming you did have one)?

Thanks,
