|Mogan||It's certainly interesting to look at test results, but I can't say enough about how wonderfully S-M-O-O-T-H The bike is with the full Akrapovic and race filter setup.|

Personally, I don't care for the shorty mufflers, although I'm sure they perform well...seems that's the trend nowadays, but the S is long and lean and I think the longer pipe looks better...jmo Kinda like a super model that's long and lean and then has short, fat, stubby little legs...just something wrong with that picture.
As much as I love seat of the pants performance, the bike's got to look good too.

Looks like the pipe end will pop out just behind and under the pannier bags if my imagination does any justice.

Have you or anybody else matched up this muffler with the pannier bags? I am curious about how this looks and reacts with the bags (i.e.: Does it melt them??) :wtf

Full Z-Technik Exhaust Set-up
I was wondering if anyone out there has the full Ti Z-Technik exhaust system set-up on their K12S ride??
I have had GREAT luck with Z-Tech exhaust on my K12GT and I am looking into doing the same for the S, but I don't like how the full system has the pipe being 200 mm (7.87") shorter than the slip-on version. I am concerned about heat on the panniers, looks, sound, etc. Just wondering if anybody has got any feedback.
