Darien Light

Jeff, it seems almost no one has experience with this jacket. Thanks for the reference. I find the original DArien too thick and hot in Florida. Tried mesh jackets but then you have to carry rain gear. It rains almost every afternoon in the Summer and its not predictable.

K1DUDE Apparently, no one here is using a Darien light. I saw this post on another site. Check post#49

Any experience with Darien Light jacket/pants?

I wear a Darien jacket (hi viz) with the Darien black pants that are great for long trips. I don't have to pack rain gear and feel safe riding with them for days on end. Now that I've moved to Florida, I'd like something lighter. I have some perfed jackets with rain liners but would rather have only to wear one jacket for warmer climates.

Has anyone worn the Darien Light jacket and pants for traveling? Are they comfortable? Do they tend to be a bit cooler when rding than the regular Darien fabric? They are now available with a sand color.

Many thanks.
