Has anyone purchased a bike cover for their GT? If so what brand and size. I can't seem to find the BMW cover for the GT on any dealer site and when looking at 3rd party covers such as Nelson-Rigg I only see older BMW models listed in their sizing chart.

Bmw makes a dust cover that will fit the bike. Try Bobs or A&S Bmw for Bmw Cover. Also, If you want another brand may want to look at the Aerostitch Site. They offer a couple alternatives and carry high quiality products.
I have the "soft" dust cover from BMW for inside and I'm expecting any day to receive my travel cover (water proof) from the folks at GEZA. See here: http://www.gezagear.com/

There's a Cycle Gear in Plano, TX. Go there. They got a whole bunch of Dowco Guardian Covers there (Size=Large?). If you ask them "I need one to fit that bike out there," they may let you try one to see if it fits. That way you get out of the "I need to take it back" problem 'cause ya bought the wrong one.
I ordered mine from one of their catalogs as I wanted a seat only cover since the full covers are way too big too carry along. You'll see that when you see the size of the Dowco boxes. I just wanted to protect the leather Mayer seat.
Fwiw, Russell Day-Long Saddles also makes a seat-only rain-cover for around $50. I have an old leftover one that I had when I had a Russell seat (which I wish I had back!). I use it for washing the bike.

The GEZA cover looks interesting. What size did you order? Are you getting the one that only covers the top half? From their sizing chart is looks like the GT w/top case would use the X-Large.
GMACK, I've been in Cycle Gear before to look. Last time I was there they didn't have any larger covers. I'll have to go by and check them again.
Is a pain in the ass to use. Damn thing gets caught on ever little thing that sticks out. It also likes to pick up every spider piece of grass and any other thing on the garage floor. Looks nice and is soft and fuzzy though. I have a light weight Dowco legend for another cycle that I really like, and could be pressed into service for outdoor use if needed.
I have found that the cover I used for my GL1800 (light-weight, nylon type), fits fine on the K1200GT, especially since I almost always have the large top case on the bike. I always run a small bungee cord across the bottom, through the two grommets. Slightly too large is better than too small.
