I recently bought an 08 K1200GT crate motor with 15,000 miles off ebay back in the end of June. Im just now getting time to swap motors on my 06 1200GT. Upon removal of the spark plugs, the spark tip had oil on it. What would be the cause of this? Bad piston seals?
I can't seem to find any photos or videos that illustrate how to remove the plastic cover that is hiding the spark plug wires and plugs.
The bike is old, so I don't want to start prying a piece of plastic that might be brittle and snap.
