Anyone know how to remove the clamps that attach the airbox to each of the four carbs? I am wanting to replace my throttle cables and need this airbox out of way

Looks like there is room for screw clamps unless there is something that sits right over the clamp. My turbo bike had the same clamps and I replaced them with screw clamps.

I've had my airbox on and off a few times. They squeeze off just as Alexmcc states, but they are a pain in the ass to get back on so by all means, get screw clamps. The manual even states this works fine.

You can get the correct width (3/8") from Graingers. Most everywhere else is only going to have a clamp that's 1/2" wide in that length and they will not sit correctly on your rubber sleeves. There is plenty of room to get them tightened and you can move them around as you need to get a wrench, socket driver or screwdriver on them. I also put a dab of thread locker on the screws. It will ad a little more friction to the screw set. You do not want those coming loose because the over lean condition would burn up your motor in a matter of miles. Do not over tighten them because they will cut into the rubber sleeves.

As long as you are in there with the Airbox off, you might want to get your Injectors cleaned and screened professionally and check for chaffed fuel hose or wires. Now is also a good time to consider if you would like to get rid of the stock exhaust or do K&N air filters because you will have to put a Power Commander in to adjust for the different tune and you must have the airbox off to install those.
