I bought a bike this spring that had a set on it.. They are set just far enough forward to give you a comfortable place to rest your feet, especially if you have your seat on the highest setting. They would be worth the money and are the only alternative for highway pegs i've seen. I found out the hard way they are pretty tough too. Laid the bike down on the interstate after hitting water 2 feet deep in a thunderstorm. Bike splashed down on the right side with not much damage except cosmetic, scratched fairing and saddlebag. The Estrada peg bent a bit but straightened out by putting a pipe on it. The bike behind me went down also and knocked the topbox loose from the latch and it went floating away down the highway. We got it.
