Some other parts

Until LOCUS gives us the really good stuff I have a tidbit, albeit pricey. Gilles Tooling makes the BMW authorized rearsets for the PowerCup and I tried to talk them out of a set for my Replica project. They came back saying that they couldn't sell me a pair but that BMW would be selling them in the spring. I'm conjecturing that this is when the dealers will start selling a PowerCup replica and/or the parts. For anyone that's interested in just what makes a PowerCup there's a comprehensive set of specifications for the bike and for how a PowerCup race is administered at http://www.bmw-motorrad.co.uk/com/en/index_frameset.html?content=http://www.bmw-motorrad.co.uk/com/en/fascination/motorsports/powercup2005/home.html

In the meantime Gilles has these nice wheels, but unfortunately like most of the stuff coming out of Germany for the KR, the price is dear - ~$2100US, plus shipping.
